To be an effective legislator requires the assistance of a dedicated support staff. I am blessed this year to have not only a Legislative Aide, but also six student volunteers working with me at the Capitol. Every member of my legislative staff is a vital asset to a team effort of serving the constituents of House District 49 and the people of Colorado. Let me introduce them to you.
Janice Quitmeyer: Janice serves as Rep. Lundberg's Legislative Aide, overseeing the management of the Capitol office and student volunteers. She has previous experience in the areas of public relations and communications. Janice is also the mother of three children. This is her third year at the Capitol, having worked for many years for a non-profit organization.
Sarah Anderson: Sarah is a 15-year-old student from Colorado Springs. She is currently completing her sophomore year of studies and has interests in writing and public policy. Sarah is in her second year of volunteering at the Capitol.
Janie James: Janie is a 16-year-old student from Ft. Collins currently finishing her sophomore year of studies. She enjoys writing, music and also plays basketball. This is Janie's Second year of volunteering at the Capitol.
Laura Lundberg: Laura is a 16-year-old student from Berthoud. She is currently completing her sophomore year of studies and has interests in public relations and speaking as well as public policy and law. Laura also enjoys reading and playing basketball in her spare time. This is Laura's third year volunteering at the Capitol.
Jayne Carlson: Jayne is a 17-year-old student from Castle Rock. Completing her senior year at Rock Solid High School, she is highly involved at school being on the yearbook committee, chapel committee, leadership team, and other committees. Looking on towards college, she is narrowing down her interests and will probably study Kinesiology with a possible double major in Political Science or Law. Jayne is enjoying her first year interning at the Capital.
